Cities Vs Suburbs Vs Country Side
What makes people want to live in the city? What makes people enjoy living in the suburbs? What makes the country side appealing? My cousin went to visit his brother at the U of M and thought that it had a weird smell and did not like it one bit. He grew up in Stacy MN on a lake and very rarely comes to Brooklyn Park or Maple Grove unless he's coming for Holidays or visiting us. While Stacy is still a suburb he'd rather be somewhere with a lake a forest. His brother on the other had has no problem with big cities and doesn't understand what smell his little brother is talking about. It made me wonder what people like about cities, suburbs, and the country side, or what they dislike about them.

There seems to be an inverse relation between "potential things to do" and "quality of life" between the country and city. The suburbs kind of fail at things to do unless you have a car. I like the easy access to nature in rural areas and big cities are dirty and suffocating, but I feel like I would get bored in the country. That's why comfortable suburbs are OK to live in as long as you don't mind neighbors.
